Finally, Facebook-owned Instagram now supports dark mode on both Android and iOS. Besides this, Instagram is also adding a new security feature that helps you avoid phishing scams.
To switch to the dark mode you need to switch to the system-wide dark mode setting on your smartphone. If you're using iOS 13 or Android 10 you can enjoy this much-awaited feature as of now. But in case your phone runs a custom skin like Samsung OneUI or MiUi, that supports dark mode, You can use Instagram's dark mode with the same settings.
You'll also need to update the Instagram app to the latest version on your phone. There's no way to toggle the dark mode feature on or off within the app.
