Google Messages is finally enabling dual-SIM RCS support

Google Messages Adds Dual-SIM RCS Support

Google Messages is finally getting a major upgrade that many users have been waiting for : support for dual-SIM RCS. This means that you can now use RCS chat features, such as read receipts, typing indicators, and group chats, on both of your SIM cards.

RCS is a more modern messaging protocol than SMS, and it offers a number of advantages, including richer features, faster delivery, and improved group messaging. However, it has been slow to roll out, and it has not been available on dual-SIM devices until now.

The new dual-SIM RCS support is currently being tested in a beta version of Google Messages. However, it is likely to be rolled out to all users in the near future.

This is a major step forward for Google Messages, and it will make the app even more appealing to users who have multiple SIM cards.

Here are some of the benefits of using dual-SIM RCS:

  • You can use RCS chat features on both of your SIM cards.
  • You can have separate chat histories for each SIM card.
  • You can switch between SIM cards more easily.

If you are using a dual-SIM device, I recommend that you update Google Messages to the latest version and enable RCS chat features.
