Lately Sony has stuck to its familiar, aging design for its smartphone lineup, effectively ignoring the bezel-less design that so many other manufacturers are following.
But change is on the horizon. Kenichiro Hibi, Sony India’s managing director, is teasing that the company plans to change things up for its smartphone lineup, saying, “We have deployed an omnibalance design as long as the X series continues to be available in the market. Also, we are planning to launch new generation of products and you can expect a complete new design from the devices.”
As for what’s new, that remains a mystery. Hibi did say that the company’s next flagship will be coming “soon,” but what that means is anyone’s guess at this point. If Sony does change things up, will you consider buying their new device? What would you like to see them change?
