Samsung seems to take on Oneplus, Oppo and Google by launching its an upcoming flagship device with a 120 Hz Refresh rate display. Samsung Galaxy Note 9, running on ONE UI, is found to have the settings for switching to 120Hz display settings. This reveals that Samsung is currently working on devices with a higher refresh rate. The picture below shared by Ice Universe shows that there is an option for the switch from 60 to 120 Hz refresh rate.
The new One UI 2 beta version is said to have three different options pertaining to the refresh rate. While the first option lets users continue to use the default 60Hz refresh rate, the second option would switch to 120Hz. There is also the option to automatically switch between 120Hz and 60Hz refresh rates back and forth.
There are some other rumors suggesting that Samsung Galaxy S11 may support 8-K video recoding and 108MP camera along with the upcoming Snapdragon 865 SoC or Exynos 9830SoC.
