Google Assistant is encountering a weird bug this past week. For some reason, it thinks that Arizona is in the Eastern time zone. Not location-wise, but it will report the time as EST. Neighboring states aren’t affected, and things like weather and physical location work fine. But for some reason, it assumes Arizona residents are in a completely different time zone.
Google is now aware of this problem and working on a fix, but Arizona residents should probably avoid using Assistant for time-related matters. Hopefully the fix will roll out soon. How many of you have faced this same issue?
