Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has launched its new flagship smartphone Mi 6 in China recently. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 835 processor and has a starting price tag of CNY 2,999. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor is the same SoC that powers Samsung's latest flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
One of the key highlights of the smartphone is its dual-camera setup at the back. Xiaomi Mi 6 sports two rear LED cameras, both 12MP. One has a wide angle lens with 4-axis image stabilisation, while another is a telephoto lens with 2X optical and 10X digital zoom. There is also an 8MP front camera for video calling and clicking selfies. The company claims that both the cameras are capable of recording 4K videos.
Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a four-sided 3D curved glass design with small bezels. The glass body of the smartphone is surrounded by a stainless steel frame. The power button and volume keys are located on the right side of the device, while the SIM card tray is on the left. The bottom consists of stereo speakers and a USB Type-C port. This is also the first Xiaomi smartphone that doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone has a dual-rear camera setup. The fingerprint sensor is on the front panel.
