Reliance Jio has extended the Jio Prime offer date to 15 April. The reasoning behind this is to ensure more Jio subscribers get the option to upgrade to the Jio Prime membership plan, which offers benefits over non Prime membership plans.
Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, wrote a letter addressed to the customers. So far around 72 million Jio customers have signed up for the Jio Prime offer according to Ambani.
Under the new plan, Jio will be giving users three months of complimentary service along. The regular paid tariffs will be applied in July, once the three-month offers ends.
