Google has announced that Google Assistant now supports a few more home automation devices alongside all the products it already supports. Those devices are the Best Buy Insignia WiFi plug, LIFX bulbs, Wink, and TP-Link devices.
On top of that, there are a bunch more brand and devices now supported. The list includes Anova, August (though Assistant won’t be able to unlock the smart locks yet), First Alert, Frigidaire, Geenie, Logitech Harmony, Rachi, and Vivint come August.
With more and more support for smart home devices, especially ones that already support Alexa, there is more and more reason to pick up a Google Home. And now that it’s coming to the UK, more people can enjoy the future.
