While perusing your Instagram feed, you may have watched a video or seen a photo that you wanted to check out again later, but depending on how many people you follow — and Instagram’s algorithmic feed — that may not be the easiest thing to do.
Instagram wants to make it easier to go back and see those posts you might have wanted to take a closer look at. In the latest version of its app, Instagram will now let you bookmark posts, which are then saved to check out at a later date. The posts are saved privately, and they’ll appear in a new profile tab for easy viewing.
To bookmark a post, just select the bookmark icon below the photo or video, and it will be automatically saved to the new, private tab. You’ll need Instagram version 10.2 to take advantage of the new bookmark feature, and it’s available for both Android and iOS.
