Xiaomi officially introduced today the Xiaomi Redmi 4, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime and the Xiaomi Redmi 4A. These are all budget priced handsets that will be available in China only, at least for now. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with a 5-inch screen carrying a 720 x 1280 resolution. The Snapdragon 430 chipset powers the phone containing a quad-core 1.4GHz CPU, and the Adreno 505 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of expandable native storage. A microSD card can be used with the hybrid SIM tray. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage.
A 13MP rear-facing camera is on board, along with a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. A fingerprint scanner can be found under the rear camera. Powering the handset is a 4100mAh battery, and MIUI 8 runs on top of Android 6.0. The phone is priced at the equivalent of $104 USD. Already available for pre-orders, it goes on sale this Monday (November 7th) in Gold, Silver, or Dark Gray.

The 5-inch screen has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, and 3GB of RAM is included along with 32GB of internal storage; that is twice the 16GB of storage available on the Redmi 4. The Redmi 4 Prime features the Snapdragon 625 SoC with an octa-core 2.0GHz and the Adreno 506GPU. This model is also open for pre-orders, and goes on sale Monday, November 7th for $133 USD.
