Razer phone now official , a phone for Gamers

The Razer Phone is now official. Razer, which has built its name on providing top-tier gaming hardware and accessories, continues that trend with their first smartphone, which is keenly positioned as a perfect gaming unit for a variety of reasons. First and foremost is the 5.7-inch LCD display, which has a resolution of 2560×1440, wide color gamut support, and a 120Hz “UltraMotion” refresh rate.

The other bits and pieces all fit together to make a high-end flagship smartphone. That includes a pair of forward-facing Dolby ATMOS speakers that flank the display which are THX-certified for a rich listening experience. Under the hood there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 that supports Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 4+, which means the device can go from 0 to 85% charge in just an hour.

The Razer Phone is equipped with 8GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot. The battery is 4000mAh, it has a USB Type-C port, no 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat, with a planned update to Android 8.0 Oreo in Q1 2018.

Meanwhile, the back of the phone is outfitted with one 12-megeapixel f/1.75 wide angle camera, while the other is a 13-megapixel f2.6 camera with a 2x telephoto lens, and both are equipped with autofocus. There’s a dual-tone flash as well. Meanwhile, the front of the phone has a 8-megapixel shooter.

The Razer Phone will be priced at US $699.99 / €749.99 / £699.99 and it will launch at Razer’s website, Best Buy, and select Microsoft retail stores beginning November 17. In the United Kingdom, the wireless carrier Three will be the exclusive launch partner.
